Youth Staff
Youth Director:
Anthony Verderame
Anthony Verderame has been on staff at FPC since January 2008, but has doing youth ministry since 2004.
Anthony attended Liberty University in Lynchburg Virgina and received a B.S. in Biblical Studies. While at Liberty, Anthony served as a small group leader for his dorm and also as a Spiritual Life Director (SLD) for 3 years. As an SLD, Anthony was the overseer of the small groups and trained small group leaders.
Anthony oversees the Middle School and High School ministries at FPC. He is happliy married to his wife Danielle.
High School
Darren DeBoer
Darren has been volunteered with our youth ministry since 2006.
Darren attended Trinity Christian College in Illinois and graduated with a BS in History. After college, he moved to South Florida and started working for Coral Springs Christian Academy as a High School History Teacher, golf coach and Assistant Baseball coach.
Darren leads our Wednesday night Bible study and also helps with our weekly male teens’ accountability group.
Caitlin DeBoer
Caitlin has been volunteered with our youth ministry since 2006.
Caitlin attended Trinity Christian College in Illinois and graduated with a BS in Elementry Education. After college, she moved to South Florida and started working for Fort Lauderdale Christian School as a 4th Teacher.
Caitlin teaches the young ladies at our Wednesday Night Bible Study and also leads female teens’ accountability group.
Danielle Verderame
Danielle has volunteered with our youth ministry since the summer 2008.
After planting a church with her family in upstate New York, Danielle attended Liberty University and received a BS in Communications. While in college, Danielle served as a small group leader for 2 years and also was in a traveling drama group, which shared the gospel in prisons, juvenile detention centers and military bases throughout the east coast. After college, Danielle moved to South Florida and is currently an Account Executive with a local advertising agency.

Middle School
Bjarne Bjorsvik
Bjarne Bjorsvik has been helping out with youth ministry since the
summer of 2008.
Bjarne, who prefers being called B, is a graduate of Florida Atlantic
University where he received a B.A. in English Composition and
Literature and minored in Education. He came to know the Lord in
October of 2000 at a FPC High School Youth Group Event. He has been an active member behind the scene helping with the middle school youth group.
