Women in the Church

Come join your sisters in Christ as we seek to glorify God and grow in His grace through the study of His Word, service, fellowship, and by reaching out to each other!

"...that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge..."  Ephesians 3:17b-19a

WIC serves to develop spiritually beautiful women:

  • By providing opportunities for women to grow in their knowledge of our Lord through the teaching of His Word, mentoring and encouraging each other
  • By nurturing relationships in service together
  • By building community, reaching out to women in our church, our community and the world

Monthly & Biweekly Studies

Naomi Circle, meets Monday's at 7pm in a home, and the Mary Circle, meets Wednesday's at 9:30am, room 108 in the Church, will meet the 3rd full week of each month (the first full week beginning with a Sunday), September through May.  We will finish the book we studied last year, Turning your World Upside Down by Rick Phillips.  This study of the parables of Jesus challenges cultural thinking about relationships, money, success, and other topics. Prayer and Scripture will reveal the truth about ourselves and provide guidance in obedience to God and His Kingdom priorities.  For more information contact: Monday - Phyllis Johnston ∙ Wednesday - Sue Brownell

Lydia Circle meets Tuesday's at 7pm in a home on the 3rd week, and the Elizabeth Circle meets BIWEEKLY on Thursday's at 7pm in a home, from Sept through May.  We will be studying Respectable Sins:  Confronting the Sins We Tolerateby Jerry Bridges.  The book guides us through Scripture, prayer, & self-examination to help us identify our subtle sins. Women are prone to worry, anxiety, bitterness, & many other unrealized sins; but the Gospel gives hope because our sovereign God has dealt with our sin and sin’s dominion over us.  For more information, please contact: Tuesday - Patty McKelligett ∙ Thursday - Jo Anne Davis
