Survey: The Book of God FPC Chapel
How has God revealed Himself in the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments? In this divine library, with many human authors, is there one great theme, one historical thread that runs throughout its entirety? Moreover, how does this all relate to us? What and how are we to gain from a study of this kind?
In the next 3 quarters, August 30 through May 30, 2010, this class will try to gain a clear overview of the entire Bible, to see it in its completed form so that we may draw nearer to Christ, grow in our own maturity and discover the reasons God has chosen this method to make Himself known to us.
Taught by Pastor Addison P. Soltau
Acts Room 304
This quarter will continue our study of the Church in the first generation after Jesus’ ascent into heaven. See how God used brave and outspoken people to “turn the world upside down”. Though centuries have passed, people and their reactions to the Gospel then teach us a lot about our present day. Come and learn important lessons about joy, boldness, evangelism, withstanding persecution, wisdom and most importantly, how God’s Holy Spirit uses ordinary people to shape the course of history.
Taught by Ruling Elder Greg Miseyko
