Evangelism Philosophy

FPC is committed to fulfilling the Great Commission. A major focus of fulfilling this calling is reaching out to our local community with the gospel. We do this by building relationships with neighbors, friends, co-workers, and family members and then inviting them out to Church and,as the Lord opens the door, proclaming the gospel of Jesus Christ to them.

Evangelism Training:

FPC believes it is the calling of every believer to share the gospel in their daily lives. Our Evangelism Committee is committed to equipping our congregation with an annual evangelism training class and one on one evangelism/discipleship training throughout the year.

Our evangelism class offers training in Evangelism Explosion, The Way of the Master, and Contagious Christian. There is the opportunity to put your classroom training into practice with Tuesday night home visits each week. 

Evangelism Events:

Each ministry at FPC has an evangelism element and seeks to reach out with the gospel. Some key events throughout the year that reach out into our community are the Winter/Fall Church Picnics, Family Fall Festival, and Christmas and Easter Concerts/Dramas.
