Children's Ministry
The Children's Ministries of First Presbyterian Church exist to bring glory to God by educating children from a reformed perspective in biblical truth, worship and prayer; enabling Christian friendships for mutual encouragement and evangelizing the children of our community.
We partner with you in developing your child's faith and spiritual growth. Our programs provide a solid, biblical foundation for your child to build their life centered around God-not the world. Our teachers are faithful servants of God dedicated to each child's walk with Christ.
Kids of the Covenant is the Sunday school program for children Kindergarten through fifth grade. Kids of the Covenant provides a firm Biblical foundation to our children. It teaches the building blocks of our faith with Bible lessons, visuals, memory verses, games and crafts. Sunday school teaches the children the who's, what's, how's and why's of their faith, building on the stories of the Bible with which they are so familiar.
Sunday school is for all ages 9:30-10:30AM
Children's Church is a place where children Kindergarten through second grade learn about God, the Bible and worship. It is a teaching tool that allows children to enjoy praise time in church with their parents and then participate in a worship service of their own. Children's Church is held during the worship service at FPC Room 105.
Team Extreme is an exciting and challenging Wednesday Night program for children PK4 through 5th Grade. Team Extreme offers spiritual growth, fellowship and lots of fun. The children meet downstairs at FPC where they hear Bible stories, memorize Scripture, play games, sing songs and make crafts with their class group.

Children participate in a jam-packed week of Bible stories, crafts, snacks, games, music and skits all based on a fun theme. Many volunteers spend the week sharing the Gospel with children from our church, school and local community. The children participate in a missions project and are able to help others share God's love. VBS ministers to over 500 children from Kindergarten through Sixth Grade.
